I do agree with that changes - almost of course I do agree. I'm not sure where one should place the patch. If most of you tend to say that include is a core feature, put it into IT. If notm ITX is a more appropriate place becase addBlock*() lives there and include is somewhat similar to that. I doubt that it will make much of a difference where you put it concerning speed or ease of use.
BTW, it is the first time I hear ITX is a rewrite of PHPlib template. Are you sure ? They don't work the same at all.
True, it's features are roughly comparable as they belong to the same class of template engines, but they are definetly different. Ulf
