Christian Weiske (http://pear.php.net/user/cweiske) proposes PEAR::PEAR_Frontend_Gtk2. You can find more detailed information here: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=330This is not really a comment on the package itself, but what will it take to get the PEAR installer updated to check for this version if it is available? For example, pear -G should load PEAR_Frontend_Gtk2 if it is installed and the user is using PHP 5.1+. If not, PEAR_Frontend_Gtk should be used. Is it possible to get PEAR updated shortly after this class becomes stable, or will it have to wait until some other fix to come along and be updated at the same time? -- Scott Mattocks scott@crisscott.com http://www.crisscott.com
