views is another way of saying what I mean by groups, and "view" might be a clearer name.Reading this, I immediately had to think of "tags", like those found in Gmail, Flickr and the likes. Maybe instead of categories a future PEAR should just assign tags to its packages? That way, a package available for PHP5 which can output both HTML and XML and, say, has something to do with data structures, could have the tags PHP5, HTML. XML and Structures. One could filter through suitable packages quite nicely that way. CU Markus
