This method is not ideal, since it is unrealiable. It uses the extensions own reflection support which is often seriously lacking. Using listTableFields() (from the Manager module) and getTableFieldDefinition() (from the Reverse module) is more reliable (though also more expensive), since it uses the databases information schema.
