Ah yes, I do remmember this being mentioned earlier now. It's fine to
have the 2 types in the package in this case. I would prefer the PEAR
standard still be used for the implementation and for dicumentation,
but that's not a condition of my +1. I'll leave that for you to choose
as you see best.
