Have a look on "basicConvert" example [1] i've recently updated to show how HTML_AJAX package xml 1.0 could be convert into package xml 2.0 Something almost equivalent to "pear convert" command.
Ah no .. I have a package.php using PFM already. All I want is to start generating v2 files instead of v1 files. But I should probably just dive into the docs/code and find this out myself :) regards, Lukas Hi Lukas,
I think we didn't understood each other: There are 4 main choices : 1. you don't have yet a package.xml 2.0 and you have only a package xml 1.0, and you want to migrate only Either you use command "pear convert" or the "basicConvert.php" example available into PEAR cvs or P_PFM distribution 2. You have a package xml 1.0 and want to migrate to xml 2.0 , but also a script to continue to update your package Use : "detectDependencies.php" in P_PFM distribution (1.6.0b5) And "PEAR_PackageFileManager2::importFromPackageFile1" method You can, of course remove usage part of PHP_CompatInfo. See explains on my web page / examples tab . 3. You have already a package xml 2.0 and want to continue to update your package Use : "detectDependencies.php" in P_PFM distribution (1.6.0b5) And "PEAR_PackageFileManager2::importOptions" method 4. You want to begin to create a new package xml 2.0 from scratch Use "makepackage.php" example in P_PFM distribution If my explains are not enough clear , or contains of my web page [1] not enough, please tell me ! regards Laurent [1] http://pear.laurent-laville.org
