As referenced in the constitution[1], the PEAR Group elections will now occur. Because of the timing, PEAR Group members will serve a 1 year term from May 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008. If you are a PEAR developer, and have a user account at pear.php.net with pear.dev karma, you are eligible to run for a seat on the 7-member PEAR Group.
I'll trow my name in the pot and see what the sorting hat says :) There are a lot of things to do (and change !) in PEAR so this is a great opportunity. Arnaud.
