Hi all, I took a quick look at really, really old open bugs, to see where the bulk of our unchanging 370 bugs are coming from, and have a challenge: if a package has a bug that is only 3 digits, I would like to see a patch uploaded for that bug to the bug tracker. Let's see if we can close up the really, really old open bugs. Even if the maintainer is around, I'd like to see the patches uploaded, and then we can re-evaluate where things stand and decide whether to commit the patches. http://pear.php.net/bugs/search.php?search_for=&boolean=0&limit=10&order_by=ts1&direction=ASC&cmd=display&status=Open&bug_type=All&php_os=&packagever=&phpver=&assign=&maintain=&author_email=&bug_age=0&bug_updated=0 GregWe should also considered that a contributor may also propose a new implementation. And links to tarball and example (to his private webspace) when a patch code have too much changes (see bug report [1] for details). Something as I did ... long time ago (near 1 year now), in a galaxy far far away ... for PEAR_Info to make it PEAR 1.4.x compatible (and also now PEAR 1.5.x compatible). Tell me if I should also upload the patch that was already linked to bug report. Laurent [1] http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=7741
