This topic has been up for a while, and it is definitely something that
it's important to make easy-to-do in PHP. I'd like to be able to just
"flag" functions that I want to expose through an rpc mechamism, without
having to do full declarations for each one. For example in
pearweb/include/pear-database.php, we have a "proto" comment before each
function that is available with XML-RPC, and some code to parse these
comments and generate signatures. It's a hack, but IMHO a clean version
of this is just what PHP needs.
