Hi, I'm pretty sure this discussion should have been on pear-webmaster but well. do pear install pearweb and the rest should be rather straight forward, you have to have all the deps installed, obviously, which includes at least two external resources, just have auto discover on and you should be fine, if you don't then you might have to run pear install pearweb couple of times until you see "pear run-scripts pearweb" message (a command which you should run after the installation) where you answer all sorts of questions and after that you'll have an db + updated httpd.conf and such :) - Helgi On 4/28/07, Mark Wiesemann <wiesemann@php.net> wrote:
Hi, I'd like to prepare patches for my recently submitted bugs/requests in pearweb, and I'd also like to prepare some other small improvements to the website. Therefore, I need a running version of pearweb on my PC. I had tried to install it last year (before the website code was available as a package), and want to give it a new try this time. What are the needed steps? "pear install pearweb" is obvious, but what else needs to be done? And is doc/apache-setup.txt up-to-date (apart from the obvious changes that need to be like path corrections)? If the steps are documented somewhere, then please point me to the file. Thanks.
