Hi Helgi, Helgi Þormar wrote: do pear install pearweb and the rest should be rather straight forward, you have to have all the deps installed, obviously, which includes at least two external resources, just have auto discover on and you should be fine, if you don't then you might have to run pear install pearweb couple of times until you see "pear run-scripts pearweb" message (a command which you should run after the installation) where you answer all sorts of questions and after that you'll have an db + updated httpd.conf and such :) Thanks, it worked almost as you wrote. There were two problems: - syntax error in httpd.conf (I have reported a bug)
Hmm never had this, will take a look - PEAR_DATABASE_DSN environment variable needs to be set (it isn't
really obvious that it needs to be done this way, at least not for Windows users)
well we tend to just create the user pear and then we don't have to do anything, at least in my experience. Next step is to create the manual to get some test pages. Let's see ... ;) - Helgi
