This is a TODO to consider for the next election: I looked at the site on April 31 - having seen someone's blog post about remembering to vote. - And the vote had finished....... a) we are not all in the same timezone so finishing at May 1st GMT+12 hours should ensure that anyone looking at the site is really given until The deadline, their time.. b) 10 days is a bit tight for voting - Pepr uses 3 weeks, and often we dont get votes by then... = next time, at least 3 weeks should be considered... - And a few more reminder emails on pear-dev wouldn't be a bad idea..And a big fat note on the frontpage+news section would be appreciated. The top entry still says "Elections for the PEAR Group and President will be announced soon, and are open to all developers with pear.dev karma, stay tuned for details." heh? :) -Hannes
