Its seems APC + require_once + __autoload() keeps getting changed between performing well and performing badly every few days. It's been months since PHP 5.2 was released - it can't be that hard to figure out which one is right at this point in time. Did either of the two benchmarks which seem to disagree on results test this?Yes I did include this in my tests. Under APC from slowest to fastest it was require_once -> __autoload -> allfiles. Without APC require_once was still the slowest while __autoload and allfiles where neck and neck (within 1%). Without APC I suspect __autoload would be the fastest if you where using less than the entire package. Adam Ashley
