Laurent,I didn't realized until I open the bug list report of PEAR_PackageFileManager that the bug report already exists [1] since version 1.6.1 (september). If Tim and Greg are agree, I ask to take again the active lead to fix this bug and more (coding standard fixes [2] Regards Laurent [1] http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=12023 [2] http://pear.cweiske.de/codingstandards/PEAR_PackageFileManager.htmlNow I realize that the problem came from PHP 5 itself and realpath() function. I have not yet tested it under *Nix, but only on Windows platform (CLI or Apache module) Realpath of a directory gave me a trailing "\" with PHP 5.2.4 and even now with PHP 5.2.5, but not with PHP 4.4.7I already heard of this bug; realpath behaves different on windows as it does on unix. Open a bug report.
