Hello all,
The PEAR Group would like to announce the PEAR2 Standards. We want to point out the document is not final. Everybody is encouraged to take a look and give feedback. You can refer to the document as "version 1" of the standards.
The document which served as a basis was already discussed and controversial issues have been moved out for further discussion. Policies that will be applied to PEAR2 will be the subject of another document.
The document will expire on March 1, 2008, to be reevaluated and renewed by the PEAR Group.
