Namespaces are good to avoid clashes as in "play nicely with other libraries". Right now you cannot have a date class if you use the pear one. Arnaud.I don't have a lot to say about this except there is a real case made for a HTTP package.Fine. It sounds like a useful package. But do you absolutely need namespaces to write a PEAR "HTTP" package? What's the point with PHP namespaces finally? That's what I am wondering! (sorry for my previous long blabbering) Or did I miss something about PEAR2 ?
