As of today, all registered PEAR developers can cast their votes in the elections for the new PEAR Group and the new PEAR President:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the election is essentially done at this point, no? There's 7 slots on the group with 7 people running and one candidate for president. Is the full election even necessary at this? The Constitution doesn't seem to outline how members of the group are to be elected.
We discussed this briefly in yesterdays Group meeting and came to the conclusion to stick to the election process, if only to have a well-defined, democratic process. And as David pointed out, it may happen that a candidate gets no votes at all and thus gets no seat despite being nominated. Martin
