Nitpicking, the * in the docblocks for the method, are not indented
properly.
Minor (but important) things to attend to prior to first release (mostly
package.xml related):
Regarding package version, the first release should not be marked as
stable, 1.0.0. See RFC

The proper folder name for baseinstalldir should be "Image" and not
"image".
Fix the dependency of package name to JPEG XML Reader package.
Add a dependency on SimpleXML extension.
