Hi all,
After my first PEAR Group meeting last weekend, I had grand plans about
putting some organization around the faltering triages. I had expected a
relatively free day at the office on Friday, which I'd set aside for review
of the existing wiki pages on past triages, and use those as a guide to
build a plan for this weekend's triage.
I had a family medical issue come up Thursday evening, which had me driving
up to Tennessee for a long weekend of drama... so much for grand plans.
After getting through this weekend's triage, I had planned (there's that
fatal word again, "plan") to suggest moving the triage duration out a good
bit -- fewer triage opportunities might make for stronger intentions for
attendance by those who are interested but that felt lots of opportunities
meant it's easy to decide at the last minute "eh, I need to do *foo* so I'll
skip today's, and just go to the next one in two weeks". So, Helgi's
increase is a welcome one in my mind.
I'm happy to defer to Daniel on the organizing and analysis tasks... I had
decided to take these on because I didn't see them continuing past May. And
I *pledge* to improve my attendance at the triages, not to mention the fact
that I've allowed phpDocumentor to become one of the worst bug offenders ;)
Today I'm still in the process of making up my missed work time from Friday
and Saturday, so I can't make it to today's triage. I will however be
confirming my attendance for the next one just as soon as I see the Calendar
event dates are updated. I'll be online working all day today, so any
questions about phpDocumentor that I can help with, shoot them my way... I'm
afraid IRC will distract me too much today.
