Hi,
Well even if Daniel is willing to step up and help me I think you
should too if you are interested, having couple of people willing to
drive it on is important - so if one falls out due to family problems,
vacation, work etc etc then the others can pick up the slack, 2 guys
might be not enough for that :-P
I like daniels idea of focusing on X and Y package, up till now it's
mostly been about allowing people to pick the package they want to
work on and assist with that so we've usually ended up with 1 package
per person and nobody working on the same thing, that seemed to work
fine when we are dealing with the small packages.
So if we try to focus on a single package or a task (for example
documentation writing) it would be good.
One extremely important thing we could do is pick a really popular
package with low test count and go nuts - I think we should be able to
setup some kind of a mashup with a smallish algo that tells us
packages that are popular + test count + total bugs + current open
ones ... Obviously something more clever than that tho ;-)
Anyway brainstorm away boys - I'm hoping I found a power outlet soon
at the airport or I won't be able to join in the discussion until
tomorrow.
Regards
Helgi
