No it wouldn't - then we'd just have a "sliding window" of lines no
more than 80-85 characters in width excluding
leading spaces - depending on the level of indentation you could very
quickly get past the 100-110 characters at
which you state you break your lines of code.
It's best to be consistent regarding setting Coding Standards and
allowing for such a "sliding window" imho means
there would be anything but that.
