Hi,

There is a couple of feature requests [1], [2] open in PEAR tracker which deal with supporting new form-related features of HTML5. Bertrand and myself had an off-list discussion on adding HTML5 support, I've added its summary to the QF2 wiki [3]. If you are interested in above-mentioned support, we'd really like to hear some additional comments. Or better yet, see some contributions. ; [1] http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=5308 [2] http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=17842 [3] http://quickform.mamasam.com/wiki/doku.php?id=html5There is no HTML5 support (yet?) but we've addressed request #5308 somewhat. Client-side rules can now run onchange / onblur of form fields. This is more usable IMO than marking fields invalid before any input is made or marking email invalid long before you have a chance to input '@', as is defined in HTML5. Those interested may check out current trunk of HTML_QuickForm2 and try builtin-rules.php example.
