UML Modelling

Has anyone considered this as a way forward for both designing and documenting a system. I have been talkign quite a bit with some argouml folks and have a php code generator that works with argouml. It would appear that as a bsd licensed java thing, this would make a good addition to the pear toolkit, it may be nice to have a model of some of the larger parts of pear (forum, ooforms etc.) that people could import into their own models. The argo guys are not doing much for the next couple of months, but would like php feedback, maybe it would give php a wee boost over other systems and give pear a simpler mechanism to explain structure, relationships etc. Just a thought, I would like to know what you think.
