Well I would love to help out, I have researched a lot of the UML tools
and like argo as its java and bsd licensed, therefor should not be a
problem with pear integration.
The project itself seems to slightly lack support at the moment, but
perhaps this sort of discussion may help kick start the developers again
(it is stalled not dead). The other option is to export the code adn put
it in pear cvs for pear developer to develop further as a php uml
modeling tool in line with the new oo features for PHP5!
At this time there is php code generation (though a patch I have by one
of the developers), but there is not php import function to document
existing classes.
It uses javadoc style documentation at the moment as well (that could be
altered with a phpdoc style documentation module). Perhaps if there are
java developers as part of this list they could take a look at the code
so far -- it works just fine and perhaps think about a code import
function.
I would like to see a 3rd party tools development aids (or separate
packages ?) section in pear for such programs, and then upload this to
that location. Is that possible, or perhaps even another similar system
is in place that is further along with php integration at the moment.
I am not a java developer and would not be the right person to take this
on board but am happy to apps on the code contacts etc to whoever wishes
to take it forward, although as it stands it is a valuable tool.
Any java developers / takers for such a project?
