Re: PEAR Installer GUI project - prototype running!

Well, after a few hours playing around... It can: load the list of available packages via xmlrpc from pear.php.net merges what you have installed against what is available allows you to see the description etc. lets you install the package... I've mostly ignored the PEAR_Installer_Command_* stuff, The messages etc. wont work at present - i'm not sure if the will or not, as I had to send the Installer class the name of the interface I'm using : eg. gtk, if it the installer does not use the same instance of the (gtk) class to send messages to, it will not be able to access the interface!
