How did you manage to build with php-gtk ?
I didnt (the screenshot is a aqua gtk theme on linux) , given the trouble I had the otherday attempting macosx install, it's not a 10minute job. fink install of gtk etc. seemed to work ok. - giving you the gtk libs etc. if you cant support dl'ed modules then the only way around this would be to move php-gtk into the ext directory and attempt a buildconf from php's source directory.. (probably best not to use php cvs at present, phpize appears to be broken - that may/may not affect a static build).. i'm guessing that you will have to modify buildconf to use gnu libtool rather than apples... other than that a few searches on the php-dev archives may be an idea - somebody mentioned a fix recently to build php on macosx. regards alan
I don't use fink, I usually build from the source. My configuration supports GD and PDFLib (was not easy) at the moment. Do you have to install something prior to php build or is it just a configure option ?
Problems that we did run into was the php on mac OSX did not support dl'ed modules (on one version we tried) and there was a lot of confusion with some of apples build tools that made it 'painful' (or extremly annoying) - autoconf/automake/libtool etc.
Yes that's a problem. For instance, it makes it impossible to use pdflib 4.2 as a dl'ed module. You then have to build it and it lacks the pdfimport features. It would be great if someone could fix that one day.
- note that markus's sqpane I think wount build. but the rest does..
I don't know what this is. Cheers, Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
