Opps I should learn to read emails better after a few beers... -- looks like a few problems with the glade file.. , probably a win32 bug, (theres alot of bugs with glade on win32), After I've finnished getting the whole thing working on unix, i'll backtrack and see what fixes are necessary for win32. - either use the glade emulator, or just avoid certian widgets.. regards alan I've config'ed my test envirioment to do this.: pear.php: <? ini_set('include_path', '/home/alan/Projects/pear_installer/pear'); // path to php4/pear from cvs include('scripts/pear.in'); ?> then just run #./pear.php -G It's a bit of a complex test enviroment at present........ This the Download Progress screen - i'm learning more 'style' tricks with gtk as I go along, so the methods are getting slowly better.. http://docs.akbkhome.com/Frontend/screenshot_progress_20020528.jpg http://docs.akbkhome.com/Frontend/screenshot_progress_20020528.png Design idea for the config page... http://docs.akbkhome.com/Frontend/config%20design.jpg At present most of the work is focused on making the look & feel - sexy and smooth.. - Theres not alot of code that relates to actually installing packages *thanks to the simple API for the installer*... code is a bit messy in places, but will get tidied up as it nears completion... regards alan -- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
