Hmm, IMO we are at a point, where we have to decide something
general for PEAR: Do we want to allow it to have different
classes in PEAR which are all serving the same purpose (here:
do we want to have different template classes in PEAR)?
In this example I'm wondering if we let IT[X] and Xtpl co-exist
or if we decide, which class we integrate and which we drop (and
there are still some other good template classes like Smarty out
in userland, which might also come up one time to be integrated
in PEAR).
