I had never read about bugs or problems with IT[X] on the german mailinglist or
newsgroup.
IMO, there is space enough on the cvs to contain both classes - perhaps we
should think about two types of template-classes, a light-weight and a
heavy-weight class.
A light-weight template class, fast, small, but not very powerful and a
heavy-weight template class supporting conditions, loops etc.
