Hi,
yeah I too think that the main goal would be to have a user
authentication plus ACL class for PEAR that could then become the
defacto standard.
The user data should be storable in all sorts of different containers:
LDAP, RDBMS, flat file etc.
A second step would then be to have a distribution mechanism across a
number of servers.
