If the Log package were defining its own set of constants, I would
agree with you. Otherwise, I see no need to introduce wrappers around
existing constants. The only way to maintain backwards compatiblity
with the LOG_* contants would be to add an equivalent PEAR_LOG_*
constant, and that would get us nowhere.
I think the best solution would probably be something like this:
/* Short circuit for Windows */
if (Windows) {
if ($priority == 6) {
return 'info';
}
}
(proceed with normal mapping)
