pear distribution

hi i`ve talked with some guys from polished linux distribution (pld: http://www.pld-linux.org/) and they have some news for you: - pld is distributing pear packages in rpm files, without 'pear' command - they are asking why is pear splited in two parts in cvs (pear and php4/pear)? to be honest - they couldn`t find some packages so i explained them where can they look for them. the background of this question is - when will this situation be fixed and all classes will be moved to 'pear' cvs module? - there is a request to check if end of files is \n not \n\r - it breaks something with automatic rpms creation, im not sure what that would be it. if you have more questions to them - contact with me, i will forward it to right persons. rash
