Some days ago I've started to have problems sending mails to *@lists.php.net. The problem is that someone adopted http://www.blackholes.us as a Black List and its blocking all mails coming from Brazil and I'm included on that list. I would ask you to review this policy so people from Brazil can send mails to PHP Mailing Lists.
That may not be the right way to solve the problem. The blacklists exist because spammers were allowed to post from the given zones. The right way to solve the problem is to contact your ISP to sort out the problems and they should be the ones to get unlisted. If you ignore the blacklists, all sorts of spammers will be allowed to send messages to the lists. I know that UOL the largest Brazilian provider is block SMTP connections to any servers outside their networks. Hopefully they will have their IP ranges unlisted soon. Meanwhile, people affected by the blocking may want to try posting via the news server at news.php.net . -- Regards, Manuel Lemos
