I still think that the topic is left to be discussed.
After reading the article
http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2001/02/07/openoffice.html?page=2
and writing a tool for importing data from a specific web application into an OO-document I have to come back to the topic about writing PEAR-Doc or converting it from any format to docbook.
I got a tiny glimps into the structure of the OO-XML file and they are (kinda) HTML-like. So I still think a tool which converts OO to DocBook makes more sense then one from HTML. What do we have XML for? I surely could write one, and when i find the time i will (but i will have to learn docbook b4 :-( ).
And even the conversion from a OO-document to PDF or whatever is much easier, so i think this might be a way to go, not only for the pear-doc.
I am curious about opinions. What do you think?
