I don't have a proper Windows environment to test PEAR with, so it
would be great if some of you work out a solution and implement it :).

But will they read that file? IMO they will spam pear-general with
support questions ;-).
BTW: Please configure your mail client to wrap lines properly. Reading
messages containing lines with more than 80 characters sucks a lot.
