Fixed in CVS. The Russian and the Japanese manual will now be delivered
with UTF-8 encoding.
With mozilla1.6, I can read the japanese manual well. but with IE6, my
friends said, they could not read some pages, which turned into
garbage.
I guess IE do not interpret encoding attribute in XML tag suitably,
and that its auto detection for encoding do not works well.
One of solutions is to add following meta tag next to <head> tag.
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>PEAR :: ......
It works in my environment.
So please try to add it.
Thank you.
