This was my problem too. I showed the output from get_include_files() to the web hosts and that convinced them that the problem was on their end. I would love to set up my own server, but that's not in my budget right now, and that's another mailing list... Thanks to all who helped with this. Get your includepath from php_info and check all folders in the includepath (you probably need your host to check some of them) for a HTML_Common file (The file is called Common.php, but note, not all files called Common.php are the HTML_Common file. There are other files in PEAR with the same name (for example in DB) ) to make sure there is no outdated copy somewhere that gets used. Replacing my HTML_Common solved my problem. The error you are seeing are caused by an outdated version of HTML_Common, full stop. Now, just try to find where it is in your include paths and remove it.
