I just installed PHP 4.3.4 on OS 10.3.3 and then attempted to use Pear
(having never used it before).
If I type 'pear install Log' I get:
# pear -v install Log
downloading Log-1.8.4.tgz ...
Starting to download Log-1.8.4.tgz (29,453 bytes)
.........done: 29,453 bytes
<hangs>
top shows php chewing the CPU. I've tried installing other packages from
'pear remote-list' and had the same effect.
How do I go about sorting this out? I started to dig into the
PEAR/Command directory, but it looked intimidating. Any help?
Thank you very much!
