If you got some nice code for a new element - I would be grateful to see it in QuickForm ... AFAIK (I hope) there is no such element yet ...It's not an entirely new element I'm trying to create - just trying to bind together two existing elements using javascript as well as validation rules.
It is not easy though - because of course you want to put the new element in the selectbox upon submit, don't you?Not necessarily - I just want the functionality I described in the first post - the possibility for the user to either choose an element from a drop-down box OR type in some text in a text field! But it shouldn't be possible to both choose an element AND type in something in the text field. Cheers, Tommy Ipsen.
