Hi, Could someone tell me if it exist a tool able to generate forms with formbuilder. Formbuilder is a fantastic tool but apparently, there's no interface who allow to generate automatically checkbox buttons or radio buttons or code-postal textbox (with validation rules) You must add these elements manually in the dataobject file. Ultimately, can we find tools able to do that automatically (with a graphic interface??) Thank you for advance
Hi Loulou, IMHO, if you want to do such extensive manipulations of your form, you should make your own form class, specifying exactly how the form should behave, and return an instance of that via a getForm() method in your DataObject. The form generation process eats up quite a bit of processing power, so if you make huge manipulations yourself, it doesn't make much sense to let FormBuilder create the few elements that you don't make by yourself. Introducing a getForm() method will let you work around this, and you'll still be able to use FormBuilder for the processing part. For the form definition itself, no, there is no such tool, AFAIK.
