As you have already suggested, using XSLT or XML_Transformer should be the way to go - I think especially with PHP5, using XPath and the SimpleXML extension, a tool like this should be very easy to do.
-are there any plans like this for mdb2?
This could also be solved by XML transformation. I don't know of anyone planning on doing any of this anytime soon, though. CU Markus
