When assigning a string to the template where the string contains a $, the $ and the next 2 characters will be stripped out. For example, assigning '$100 million' becomes 0 million. I know I can get around this by using quotemeta(), but I didn't know if this should be considered a bug?
<?php
include_once('HTML/Template/IT.php');
$tpl = new HTML_Template_IT();
$tpl->loadTemplatefile('test.inc.html');
$tpl->setVariable('STRING' , '$100 million');
$tpl->show();
?>
Thanks!
