I also got such problems if i tried first... first i guessed that DataObjects generates the *.links.ini file by himself it doesnt, but the api documentation suggested it to me... look: http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.database.db-dataobject.intro-relations.php ::: " DB_DataObject Version 0.3 introduced the ability to create link ini files so you can map rows to other database columns using an ini file this ini file should have the name 'databasename.links.ini', and be placed in the same folder as the database schema ini file 'databasename.ini' file that is created automatically by createTables.php " next problem was to name the the methods in the DO classes from "function()" to "fb_function()" and some not (preGenerateForm()) same with the vars... there's nowhere any line of documentation which says that. thats why i had a lot of try and error problems to solve anyway.... now prototyping is really faster for me...
