I've just added a new comment to Structures_DataGrid Request # 3170,
which I created a while ago, and thought that people might be
interested in the code I posted. Basically it's a new type of column
which auto-limits the length of long fields and uses JS to allow
clicking on the text to expand it to normal (clicking again makes it
contract again). It works just like a normal column but you are forced
to specify the field name. I suppose this isn't needed if a formatter
is specified...but I can fix this later, perhaps.
If you try it out, let me know if you have any problems / suggestions / etc.
