Hi!
I'm new to this mailing list and did not manage to search the archives
as the search engine at list.php.net is offline. That's why I couldn't
figure out if this question has already been asked so please don't kill
me if I am asking it again :-)
What I want to know is what will happen to PEAR with the new Zend
engine release:
- What happens to the PEAR base class when its functionality -
destructors and error handling - is performed by the engine?
- Will PEAR define an API for exception classes?
- Will PEAR keep its package system?
- Have you already started thinking about that / implementing / testing
new code?
- If no, when will you start to "translate" current packages?
