I'm trying to use the CAPTCHA module for a very simple web email-sending form.
Everything is working fine on my test server, with the image generating and
displaying properly and then being processed accordingly.
However, when I move the script to our production (shared hosting) server, the
image is lacking any text. The code-string is still being generated, and the
image is still being dynamically rebuild on-demand, but there is no text in
the image.
I know the font file I'm using is being found, since if I remove it then the
image isn't built at all.
Any idea what the problem could be?

exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea,
which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to
himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession
of every one, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it." -- Thomas
