Hello,
I recommend that you upgrade to PHP 4.2.2. Download the zip package and
follow the instructions for installation. If you use apache this is pretty
straightforward.
Then to use PEAR to its full extent install the pear command by downlading
http://pear.php.net/go-pear
Launch it with php.exe -q go-pear
Be sure that you turned off output_buffering in the php.ini
Answer the questions for installing the pear command.
If you are behind a proxy which requires authentication i can provide you
with the patches (or maybe they'll make it into the version distributed ?
;)))
Go into the directory containing pear.bat and launch it.
That's it.
Arnaud.
