hello, more pear-on-win oddities:
when i run go-pear, it seems that pear.bat is installed into c:\php\scripts, but not into c:\php as
indicated in the go-pear output.
then, whether i try to run it in place or move it to c:\php and try from there, nothing happens.
just a pause, then command prompt
returns. same for all commands.
i also noticed this: even though i specify c:\php as the prefix dir, DB and XML_Parser install their
test scripts into
c:\php4\pear\tests.
thanks,
dietrich
