Of course.
Actually someone is already working on one.
MDB will have a generic ODBC driver which will be inherited specific
drivers (like DB2, SABDB/Adabas D etc.).

Are you sure that was is actual question?
Since he is asking this on the PEAR General list I assume he is not
talking about the php extension ... then again his question does not
make it clear either ... could you please clarify.
