You are doing nothing wrong at all. Puhh! ;-)
use the same format as MDB does. Now things clear up for me. I was searching in the code for some form of intelligence which checks if the string is correct and returns the same output for different inputs like "2002-03-01", "01.03.2002" or array(1,3,2002). I was not aware, that MDB assumes a master-format. I now use a function which converts between the array and the MDB-Format (both directions) and am happy again!Thanks for the help, Michael
